Mercedes C-Class Tyre Pressure Reset

Mercedes C-Class Tyre Pressure Reset

As you drive the vehicle, the tyres warm up and the pressure inside increases. Tyre pressures should be adjusted ideally when cold. Tires are considered cold has not been used for three or more hours, or if you have driven the vehicle for less that one mile and at a moderate speed.

If you have no option but to adjust tyre pressure to a ‘hot’ tyre, it’s advised that you increase tyre pressures by 4 psi (14 kPa) over the recommended manufacturer values. The correct tyre pressures for your vehicle can be found on a placard located inside the driver’s door on the B–pillar, or on the inside of the fuel filler flap.

The tyre pressure system on your Mercedes C-Class should be reset if you have altered tyre pressures or changed a tyre/wheel. The following guides explain how to reset the tyre pressure system for UK and USA models of the Mercedes C-Class.
